I feel most alive when I’m making, designing, thinking, dreaming. Coming up with new ideas is what I do. As the embers of this years sparklers dwindled, I saw a multitude of options available; turning their ashes into part of something new and beautiful.
Old furniture whispers to me and a new piece is born. Fabrics catch my eye and get my mind whirring with ideas.
Perhaps this is why, after the first year of doing an Open University Degree is Psychology, I switched to Design and Innovation. It’s a natural fit and helps me understand myself, the world and my place within it far more than psychology ever did.
Since 2011, I have been working as a face paint artist, building a busy and successful business from it. However, since 2016, I’ve been longing for more. Variety is the spice of life, and my palette desires more flavour!
Since then, I’ve reignited my passion for making stuff, whilst also developing a deep love of upclying furniture.
The journey continues, and who knows where it will take me.
Thank you for joining me along the way.
